It's a game about
The Aim ...
is to uncover a slow-burning, creeping horror in a small town on the edge of collapse. Players tell a story together about repression, sacrifice, and how belief shapes reality. You’ll struggle with your own corruption, and ultimately face the Fiend’s Intent in a final confrontation. You won’t always win. You may not even survive. But your choices will matter.
The Tone ...
is spiritual dread and mythic decay. This is a slow horror game: mystical, biblical, and psychological. There’s beauty in the dark, and the light doesn’t always save you. We’ll lean into ambiguity, metaphor, and temptation. The evil is behind familiar rituals that twist into something else.
Subject Matter ...
includes themes of religious horror, corruption, memory loss, personal trauma, and inevitable decay. Characters may suffer loss of control, physical harm, emotional distress, or merge with inhuman forces. Since many themes may feel too intense or off-limits, the game features Safe Words, a safety tool similar to Lines and Veils.

Hello! When I try to download this on the itch desktop app, it says "this title is hosted on an incompatible third-party website" and the downloads have "external" next to them. Is there a way around that so I can access them from the itch app?
ugh, that's probably because all downloads link to Google Drive, and they should work if you have a gmail account. I chose this method so that I can keep the files updated without having to add them to the itch app again and again.
I did a major overhaul of files, and finalized them as well, so no more third-party docs (except for the keeper sheet), check them out!
Hi the first external link down seem to work anymore.
thank you for the alert! fixed
this looks super cool!
thank you! owes big time to Tony Tran
